Every pair has a knee armour sleeve on each leg and a dual hip pocket on each side, one larger and one smaller compartment. Use the armour you own, add our Safetech set, or buy any brand later.
How the pockets work
- Knee sleeve
- Takes knee armour about 21 to 26 cm tall and 13 to 17 cm wide. Most Level 1 and Level 2 knee inserts fall in this range.
- Velcro top and bottom
- Set the armour higher or lower so it sits on your kneecap when you are seated on the bike, not when you are standing.
- Dual hip pocket
- A larger and a smaller compartment, so any hip armour fits. Flat and invisible when empty.

What armour comes with the jeans
Choose “With armour” on any riding jeans and you get:
- Safetech knee protectors, 1 pair. EN 1621-1:2012, Level 2, Type A. Soft ViscoFlex compound, ventilated and lightweight.
- Safetech hip protectors, 1 pair. EN 1621-1:2012, Level 2, Type B. Soft ViscoFlex compound with side coverage for a snug fit.
Will other armour fit?
Yes. We only sell Safetech, but the pockets are not locked to one brand.
- Knee sleeve: takes knee armour about 21 to 26 cm tall and 13 to 17 cm wide. Velcro at the top and bottom lets you set the height so the armour sits on your kneecap in the riding position.
- Dual hip pocket: a larger and a smaller compartment, so any hip armour fits.

What CE Level 2 means
EN 1621-1 is the European standard for motorcycle limb armour. It has two ratings.

Fitting and care
- Slide the knee protector into the knee sleeve and the hip protectors into the hip pockets before you ride.
- Take all armour out before washing the jeans.
- Wipe the armour clean with a damp cloth and let it dry fully.

Can I use my own armour?
Yes. The knee sleeve takes knee armour about 21–26 cm tall and 13–17 cm wide. The dual hip pocket has a larger and a smaller compartment, so any hip armour fits. We have fitted Safetech, D3O, Knox, SAS-TEC and Cerros. Choose Without Armour and slide yours in.
What do I get with the armour option?
One pair of Safetech knee protectors (EN 1621-1:2012, Level 2, Type A) and one pair of Safetech hip protectors (EN 1621-1:2012, Level 2, Type B), for ₹1,800 more than the jeans alone.
Is CE Level 2 better than Level 1?
Yes. EN 1621-1, the European standard for motorcycle limb armour, has two ratings. Level 2 is the higher one, so less of an impact reaches your knee or hip. The Safetech set we give is Level 2.
Do I need to remove the armour to wash the jeans?
Yes. Slide the knee and hip protectors out before every wash, and put them back once the jeans are dry.
