How to measure a pair you own
The easiest way to get your size right is to measure jeans that already fit you well, then compare with the chart.
Waist
- Button up the jeans and lay them flat.
- Measure straight across the top edge of the waistband, edge to edge.
- Double the number.
Hip
- Lay the jeans flat, front facing up.
- On each side seam, mark a point 7 inches down from the top of the waistband.
- Run the tape from one mark down to the bottom of the fly and back up to the other mark, in a V.
- Double the number.
Inseam
- Lay the jeans flat and spread one leg out straight.
- Start at the crotch seam, where the leg seams meet.
- Measure down the inside leg seam to the bottom of the hem.
